Director of Development

My client is a well-established utility-scale solar & battery storage IPP, one of the leaders in the renewable space with over 7GW of projects either contracted, under construction, or in operation throughout the US.

With incredible success across the Central and Eastern US markets to date, they are looking to continue expanding and strengthening their presence out West. This Director of Development position will be tasked with overseeing this initiative, advancing the existing projects in their WECC pipeline, while continuing to build this out through greenfield and M&A efforts.

Ideal Criteria includes but is not limited to:

• Strong utility-scale development experience throughout the WECC region. BESS is preferred in addition to solar.
• 6-9 years of direct renewable development experience
• Having directly managed the full project life-cycle, from greenfield or acquisition to NTP
• Understanding the political and permitting landscape out West across different states/territories, as it pertains to new market entry and project opportunity

This position is fully remote, although my client does have an office in Denver, Colorado and the ideal candidate will be located out West.
