Senior Staff-Level Android Developer

Location: São Paulo-SP, Brazil or Porto Alegre-RS, Brazil

Role Description: Today’s world is crime-riddled. Criminals are everywhere, invisible, virtual, and sophisticated. Traditional ways to prevent and investigate crime are no longer enough. Technology is changing incredibly fast, and the criminals know it, and they are taking advantage of it.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Android applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Identify and fix bugs to improve application performance.
4. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Android developer.
2. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
4. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
5. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
