Responsibilities and assignments

As part of a developer's team, the Java Developer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, and then implementing and maintaining the modules or features of software according to specifications and project plans.

Core tasks include:

1. Providing development services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans.
2. Design activities including requirements analysis and design documentation.
3. Implementation activities including implementation, testing, and integration.
4. Maintenance activities including error analysis and removal.
5. Usually extending, modifying, or adapting existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new features of software.

Requirements and qualifications

• Required: Java and/or NodeJS, REST, Microservices, UI-based technologies such as Angular and React, Spring Boot, GitHub, HTML, Agile software development, Jira.
• Desirable: BTP (Business Technology Platform), UI5, CAP (Cloud Application Programming).
• Location: São Leopoldo - RS, with the possibility to perform part of the job remotely.
• Knowledge of SAP’s Procurement solutions such as Purchasing, Invoicing, and Ariba is a plus.

Additional information

Graduated in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
