In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled FullStack Developer with solid experience in Node.js and React to join our team. This professional will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications, working on both the front-end and back-end. If you enjoy challenges and want to work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment, this position is for you!

1. Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and React.
2. Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
3. Implement RESTful APIs to integrate front-end and back-end.
4. Ensure code quality through best development practices.
5. Perform code versioning using GitHub.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
7. Monitor application performance and implement improvements when necessary.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Solid experience in development with Java EE, Node.js, and React.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially GitHub.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: IBM Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
• Ability to work with RESTful APIs and service integration.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with frameworks such as Java Spring, Apache Camel, Express, and Apollo Server (GraphQL).
• Familiarity with IDEs like IntelliJ and Visual Studio Code.
• Knowledge of database systems: SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Understanding of software design patterns, as well as methodologies like TDD (Test-Driven Development) and DDD (Domain-Driven Design).
