Data Engineer

Location: Fully Remote (Supporting PT Time Zone)

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer.

What You’ll Do:

1. Design, build, and optimize data architecture, pipelines, and data warehouse models.
2. Develop and maintain scalable data marts to support data insights and analytics.
3. Implement master data management best practices.
4. Work with Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and AWS to build and automate data workflows.
5. Write efficient, well-documented SQL and Python code to process and transform data.
6. Leverage Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD to manage infrastructure as code.
7. Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to translate data needs into actionable insights.
8. Ensure data integrity, security, and governance in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data pipelines, and data warehouse modeling.
2. Expertise in Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and AWS (must have hands-on experience).
3. Strong proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Python for data transformations.
4. Experience with GitHub, Terraform, and CI/CD for data infrastructure automation.
5. Proven track record in designing and managing large-scale data marts.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams.
7. Background in banking, financial services, credit card, or fintech, ideally in a start-up environment.
