Team Overview

We are looking for a motivated, high-spirited person, with structured thinking, good communication, good interpersonal relationships and, of course, a person that is super analytical.

To be successful in the position, you must have knowledge about data environments, SQL, Python, storytelling, be able to understand and deconstruct problems, bringing solutions and help guiding decision making.

This position is part of the Quality, Safety & Security Team, dedicated to enhancing marketplace efficiency through a strong focus on quality perception and safety culture. Within this team, the role is situated in the Business Analytics Area, where our mission is to drive effective decision-making, minimize uncertainty, and leverage knowledge as a competitive advantage.

You will have a very close contact with Product and Platform Governance teams in both Brazil and China - but you may also have contact with other local teams such as Operations, Anti-Fraud, Growth, Public Relations, Governmental Affairs, Legal, etc.

Role Responsibilities

Within the Quality, Safety and Security team, focusing on Business Analytics, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing data on problem-solving perspective, bringing actionable and timely insights;
• Designing and supporting the team in defining clusters, cities and other variables to carry out tests on the app;
• Suggesting solutions to the Quality, Safety and Security in order to improve the users' experience with the platform;
• Supporting the team with the development and maintenance of OKRs and KPIs;
• Always seeking and suggesting proactively new opportunities and question the status quo;
• Positively impacting the experience and quality of life of our users;

Role Qualifications

As a background and profile, we are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in Business Analytics.
• Bachelor with an emphasis on related areas (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, etc.).
• Soft Skills: motivation, energy, communication, interpersonal relationships, focus, living diversity.
• Hard Skills: SQL, Python, data-driven analytical skills, problem-solving, storytelling.
• Experience in the 'Tech' world will be an advantage.
• Advanced English (must have) - lots of interface with international teams (writing, reading, listening, speaking).
