Data Analysis Engineer

Job Type: Part-Time (Required overlap hours: 9AM – 12PM MDT)

Salary Range:$1,500.00-$2,500.00

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines while ensuring data integrity and quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in SQL, MSSQL, Data Warehousing, and Linux are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis.

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategies.

• Collaborate with teams to develop custom reporting solutions based on business requirements.

• Maintain and enhance data models and reporting systems to adapt to evolving business needs.

• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Utilize SQL and MSSQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including data warehouses.

• Develop and maintain informative reports and dashboards using reporting visualization tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure continuous availability and reliability.

• Document data processes, methodologies, and reports for knowledge sharing across teams.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve data analysis practices.

• Provide training and support to stakeholders on data tools and reporting methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in SQL, MSSQL, Data Warehousing, Linux, and Reporting Visualization Tools.

• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing data queries.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Metabase, AWS, Python, and AWS Lambda.

Timezone Alignment:

• MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) with required overlap hours from 9 AM – 12 PM MDT.
