Team Overview

The Treasury and Customer Fund Manager will be responsible for ensuring the operational safety of the 99pay business, collaborating with local and international teams in product, research and development, customer experience, accounting, and finance. This role will mitigate risks of daily finance operations, oversee reconciliation tasks, develop improvements in each process, manage treasury responsibilities such as liquidity management, investment allocation, and central bank resolutions of a payment and credit institution, as well as develop tools and products to provide management efficiency and define operational and accounting flow for 99pay transactions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Establishing a cash management structure to manage liquidity and support Central Bank requirements.
  • Optimizing cash positions to maximize return on capital allocation.
  • Implementing and improving daily treasury operations.
  • Developing and managing new activities to meet Central Bank requirements for IP and SCD institutions.
  • Supporting product development.
  • Defining and managing treasury policies and SOPs.
  • Overseeing and acting on the accounting integration of all finance transactions.
  • Handling transactional (information), bank account, and accounting reconciliation.
  • Preparing national and international reports.
  • Collaborating with auditors (internal and statutory).
  • Managing a team of 3 analysts.
  • Configuring systems to register financial transactions.

Role Qualifications

  • Solid Treasury Experience (5 years)
  • Banking background and experience with accounting and reconciliation operations
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance & Banking, business management, economics or related areas; Master’s degree preferred
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects, acting strategically and results-oriented
  • Strong communication skills to address stakeholder needs and manage change
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and company asset protection
