Purpose of the Job
All activities performed by the Facilities Coordinator are related to maintenance, from planning for its execution to hiring and training new professionals. Thus, all the supervisor's responsibilities have the main objective of ensuring the performance and high performance of the assets related to equipment (process, utilities, etc) and Facilities (painting, power and water supply, etc).
You will collaborate with team members across our local organization to ensure production, operation, troubleshooting, resolution of non-conformance, and change management. This will include regular interaction with the R&D team (in Brazil and in the UK), Manufacturing, Engineering and Maintenance teams, Technical Integrators, Design Leads and Production Management.
Responsibilities
- Creation, scheduling and monitoring of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Installation, correction, monitoring and management of assets. Supervision and inspection of the production process.
- Analysis of equipment criticality levels.
- Scheduling of strategic machine shutdowns for maintenance.
- Development of electrical, automation and energy distribution projects.
- Monitoring and updating of equipment, materials and parts inventory.
- Supervision of the receipt of materials for maintenance.
- Recruitment and training of technicians.
- Contribution to the creation of a budget and management of maintenance costs.
- Adequacy of layout.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality standards.
Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements
- A Bachelor's / master's degree preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, food, beverage, biotech industries or others related to sanitary design.
- Expertise in Maintenance Planning and process uses HVAC system.
- A broad technical background with reference to equipment, processes, assembly lines, IT systems, facilities, and utilities (such as electrical, pneumatic, mechanics, HVAC).
- Capability in use of MS office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
