Job Description

The Service holder is accountable for demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding H3SEQ rules and requirements and for ensuring that H3SEQ requirements are duly implemented within their area of responsibility.

Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company H3SEQ standards. The Service Holder will contribute to H3SEQ permanent performance improvement and participate actively in an ambitious H3SEQ culture deployment.

Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.

Activities:

1. Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to COMPANY “Code of Conduct” and HSE rules and regulations.
2. Implement HSE requirements and safety culture within their area of responsibility, and comply with the required HSE training requirements for the services.
3. Participate in the preparation of the offshore procedure (implementing feedback from previous operations).
4. Follow up all offshore installation activities onboard the construction vessels including supply/barge activities, transfer of equipment, deck operation, MCV connection and testing, subsea umbilical, rigid pipelines laying, and flexible lines laying activities, lifting operations, load out, Subsea ROV works, and offshore pre-commissioning and testing.
5. Verify that the agreed procedures are implemented during offshore activities and ensure that any modifications are covered by the Management of Change process.
6. Review, comment and sign, when satisfactory, the Daily Progress Report issued by the installation vessel management team.
7. Communicate in accordance with the defined project procedures (in particular during co-activities or SIMOPS operations) and ensure good transition and handover between the different shifts.
8. Ensure that the night shift activities performed by the vessel are in compliance with the planned schedule; any deviation shall be reported onshore for consideration and approval.
9. Review and report any non-conformance activities to the SURF manager and follow up the related corrective and preventive measures.
10. Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the RSES-D (day shift Company representative) by daily report.
11. Ensure onboard the vessel that relevant traceability tables and inventory of equipment installed subsea are well maintained.
12. Act as the company representative onboard the installation vessel with the main objectives to ensure any COMOPS/SIMOPS activities and any emergency situation in accordance with the agreed Emergency Response Plan.
13. Ensure that relevant certificates/checklists are ready and when relevant signed by COMPANY representative and MWS in due time (Ready for transportation, Ready for installation, Ready for Commissioning…).
14. Coordinate with Construction Vessels offshore teams HIRA level 2 (Hazard Identification Risk Analysis) prior to the start of the operations.

Job Requirements

Engineer/Offshore Supervisor with previous experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in SURF.

Knowledge of Brazilian offshore regulations for marine, environment & NR.

Deep knowledge of SIMOPS and HSE rules.

Experience in a major EPCI Project.

Able to identify, analyze and solve problems (HSE, technical, procurement, transportation, storage and preservation, engineering, construction, quality control, schedule, costs…).

Construction background.

Strong communication skills.

Able to work as part of a team and accept strong responsibility.

Willing to contribute and adhere to the Safety and Environment requirements of the Project.

Experienced with a proper technical level of understanding of all the disciplines involved.

Organizational skills and positive attitude but able to raise and defend their services in accordance with the Contract requirements.

Languages:

• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• French, Portuguese appreciated

Knowledge of the following offshore operations:

• Pre-commissioning
• Survey
• Subsea
• Structures installation
• Working experience on ROV Support Vessel
