Due to our growth, we are looking for a motivated Senior Category Merchant Manager to join our team in Brazil.


More than one million sellers worldwide are already using the opportunity to offer products to a large customer base via Amazon Marketplace. These sellers contribute significantly to Amazon's success. By constantly analyzing ongoing business, you can identify further growth potential for the marketplace. To exploit the identified potential, you will implement projects in close cooperation with adjacent specialist departments. These projects may also include direct communication with retailers. In our team, you will become the specialist for the categories and will be responsible for the measurable success of these areas. In addition, you will be responsible for projects that contribute to improving customer experience and long-term success in the areas you serve.


Key job responsibilities

Your challenge:

  1. Responsibility for the continuous expansion and growth of customer inputs through sales partners on Amazon
  2. Supporting business planning and goals setting
  3. Preparation of regular analyses of categories inputs to support growth. You will own initiatives that come out as output of analyzes
  4. Close tracking of sellers performance to drive calls to action to improve their business and team productivity
  5. Project management to improve customer experience, dealer experience, and revenue
  6. Owns business reviews and leadership presentations

Basic Qualifications

  1. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  2. 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  3. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  4. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  5. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  6. Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
  7. Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  8. Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
