JoomPro is a first end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market and give everyone, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to easily and efficiently order goods from factories in China, with plans to include India, Bangladesh, Turkey, and others in the future.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for global shopping; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; and Joom Pulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers. Joom has offices in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil, and Portugal, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are currently looking to increase our team to develop several categories for JoomPro: Sports, Tools & Outdoors

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for holding category-specific knowledge about customers and their needs, emerging product trends, and market segment evolution such as new business opportunities.
  • Conducting assortment analysis and identifying growth points.
  • Identifying closed and underserved niches to generate demand for assortment procurement.
  • Evaluating price segments and the completeness of their offerings.
  • Working on assortment 'exclusives' with the purchasing department and developing key merchants.
  • Managing product plans.
  • Collaborating with marketing to promote products on the platform, catalogs, and promotions.
  • Supporting the Sales team in finding the best suppliers, products, and deals for our customers.

Requirements

  • Experience working in retail, B2B, FMCG, preferably eCommerce.
  • At least 3 years of category management experience in the marketplace.
  • Fluent English.
  • Systematic and critical thinking.
  • Analytical mindset (ability to analyze Power BI reports, identify trends, and dynamics).
  • Proficient in MS Excel, ability to work with large volumes of data (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Strong communication skills (ability to conduct business correspondence and effectively communicate information).
  • Ability to work in a multitasking environment and rapidly changing conditions (quick task switching, time management, and prioritization skills).
  • Customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of SQL.
