Summary: Senior Manager, Global Tender Management and Implementations
The Senior Manager, Global Tender Management and Implementations is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end tender process and driving the successful implementation of awarded contracts across all regions. This strategic leadership role involves establishing and managing a global team to ensure seamless tender submissions, optimizing bid strategies, and onboarding customers with global implementation. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, procurement, product, legal, and finance, to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Salary Range: $118,000 - $157,400 annually
Salary range is competitive and varies based on location and experience.
Reports to: Director, Commercial Strategy
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Management of the Global Tender Management & Implementations team members including all performance management and objective setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage responses for qualified regional tenders (RFI/RFP/RFQ) for global customers.
- End-to-end tender management via project management tools and CRM, from tender creation to completion, by working with product and pricing teams accordingly.
- Lead the global tender management function, including prequalification, bid strategy, document preparation, submission, and post-tender negotiations.
- Develop and refine tender strategies in line with global business goals and regional market conditions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the tender and implementation processes, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and success rates.
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements for all tenders.
- Oversee the successful implementation of awarded business, ensuring that all commitments made during the tender process/negotiations are delivered.
- Develop frameworks for project execution, resource allocation, and timeline management to meet implementation objectives.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure local adaptations of implementation plans where necessary.
- Oversee and plan the implementation process/workflow within key departments, communicating timelines, internal and external due dates, and expectations for new clients.
- Build, manage and mentor a global team of tender and implementation management professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the tender management and implementation teams.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve the tender and implementation processes, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and success rates.
- Implement best practices and standardized procedures for global tender and implementation management.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between senior leadership, regional offices, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on tender strategies and execution.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals and deliverables.

Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in pricing or tender management, preferably in the supply chain and logistics industry.
- Project Management experience or PMP/Prince2 certified a plus.
- Experience in managing large-scale, cross-border tenders and project implementations, particularly in the logistics industry.
