This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant who would be interested in learning multi location management accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support credit control team in producing new reporting tools
Provide support to finance and operations team with customer related queries.
Working closely with the Operations Department:
Communicate changes of regulations to operations to ensure compliance with tax point dates etc.
Liaise with operations as necessary & provided training where necessary.
Assist with the annual budgeting process
Investigate and implement cost savings initiatives.
VAT
Create SOP for EMEA wide VAT filings and document local tax rules
Review and approve monthly VAT returns
Coach direct reports highlight issues with mis-posting and coach operations to ensure compliance
Design new reporting tool to move towards automations
Tax Reconciliations
Create SOP for EMEA wide tax filings
Review and approve tax returns
File returns with local authorities
Banking
Treasury and cash Management
Assisting in roll out of new cashflow using Power BI tools
Monthly Management Accounts: Preparation
Review monthly P&Ls and balance sheets
Assist with preparation of monthly consolidated accounts, dashboards and overhead analysis
Audit
Prepare year end and interim audit schedules for Group and local audits.
Prepare year end close and reconciliation, yearly tax and financial reports.
Workday ERP Implementation
Understand and document local requirements needs and ensure compliance in Workday
Lead training and creation of SOPs for new ERP processes
Ensure quality control measures are in place to monitor integration between CargoWise and Workday
What we need from you:
University degree in Finance would be advantageous
Qualifications as a chartered accountant – registration not needed
Professional experience in International environment (SSC experience) would be advantageous
Fluent in written and oral English is a requirement (daily practical use)
Knowledge of ERP (integrated business management system),
Workday experience preferred, but not mandatory
High level MS Office skills- especially Excel spreadsheet
Strong communications skills
Ability to work in team and independently
