Job Description:
Evaluates commercial loan requests by reviewing applicants' credit histories and analyzing financial statements in order to approve or deny loan applications.
What you will do:
- Reviews the credit history, profitability and liquidity of clients to assess the risk level involved in credit extension.
- Consults with customers to verify financial and credit transactions; responds to customer inquiries and resolves complaints.
- Communicates with credit associations and other relevant authorities about customers' credit history.
- Analyzes financial data to determine customers' financial status and the expected profitability of commercial loans; recommends approval or denial of loan applications.
- Participates in the local credit committee to explain and defend credit processes.
- Conducts credit visits to customers throughout Brazil.
- Prepares credit write-ups of customers for Headquarters approval, and discusses with Risk Management team.
What you will have:
- Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts and tools.
- Credit Analysis and Verification: Knowledge of credit analysis and verification; experience in credit underwriting.
- Financial Statement Analysis: Knowledge of financial statements; ability to analyze financial data.
- Loan Origination: Knowledge of skills and methods used to process new loan applications.
Basic requirements:
- Pre-advanced English
