Key Responsibilities
Sales and Market Development :
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the Brazilian fertilizer market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize profitability and align with company goals.
- Negotiate and finalize CFR sales agreements in line with management guidelines.
- Gather and report real-time market intelligence, including pricing trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
- Monitor the agricultural landscape in Brazil, including farm-level activities and supply-demand trends, providing periodic updates to the management.
- Design and establish an in-country distribution model for fertilizers, ensuring seamless delivery and market coverage.
- Act as the Brand Ambassador for Indorama in Brazil, enhancing brand visibility and credibility.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with blenders, distributors, cooperatives, and other key stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs to deliver tailored fertilizer solutions.
- Proactively address customer queries and concerns to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management from a reputable business school.
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the fertilizer or agribusiness sectors.
- Deep knowledge of the Brazilian agricultural market, including distribution channels and customer dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate market complexities.
Reporting Line
- Reports directly to the Export Sales Head.
