Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager (Lead Role) will be responsible for innovating, developing and executing the company's growth and expansion strategy for the Malaysia market, reporting directly to the company's director. The role will focus on leading the business development team and driving transformation based on the company's vision to position the business for value creation, increased market share, and long-term growth. This role requires leadership skills to train and manage the business development sales team in achieving targets and recommending strategies to management.

Role Responsibilities

1. Strong and inclusive people leader who can develop and grow the existing Malaysia business.
2. Responsible for achieving the business development team's group and personal sales targets.
3. Establish a go-to-market execution plan to meet clients' demands and drive overall revenue growth.
4. Shape and execute the overall market expansion across the Malaysia region. Explore collaborations and partnerships with real estate stakeholders in the property market, including agencies, developers, and other real estate-related players.
5. Effectively deliver clear communication to the sales team in carrying out the company's visions, consistently uphold as a role model to team members by providing upskilling and motivating the team.
6. Engage closely in discussions with management on market sentiment, growth analysis, and potential opportunity explorations to drive success in personal and group performance.

Experience & Skills

1. Strong personal track record in sales/business development environment, able to achieve sales targets and expansion targets in a timely manner.
2. Prior experience in leading a team in sales/business development. Strong understanding of how to lead and drive impactful change in a dynamic environment.
3. (Added Bonus) In-depth knowledge of the real estate and/or technology industry within Malaysia.
4. Self-motivated with strong communication & presentation skills. Able to plan and execute independently.
5. Fluent in English & Chinese languages - (Malay and Chinese dialects are plus points).
