Cargo: Business Analyst

Position Overview:

The Business Analyst will play a key role in driving data-driven decision making and process improvement within the retail energy company. Working closely with various departments, the Business Analyst will gather and analyze data, identify trends and insights, and present recommendations to stakeholders in order to optimize business operations and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems and external market research.
2. Identify trends and insights in the data, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to define and document business requirements and processes.
4. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau to track key performance indicators.
5. Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
6. Collaborate with IT and other teams to implement solutions and track their success.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a related role.
3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings to stakeholders.
5. Experience with data tools and data manipulation, using Excel (Advanced), Python, R, and familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau.
6. Proficient in statistical analysis, data analysis techniques and experience with data modeling.
7. Experience working in the retail energy industry is a plus.
8. Project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies are a plus.
9. English level native or fluent.
