As an AWS Lead Engineer, you will lead the design and development of robust, scalable cloud solutions on AWS. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture and design, while also providing technical mentorship to your team. You'll play a key role in creating secure, high-performance systems that drive innovation and meet strategic objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Architect and implement AWS cloud solutions that meet security, scalability, and performance standards.
Design and manage VPCs, subnets, and ensure secure, high-availability connectivity.
Develop architectural blueprints and select the optimal AWS services for each project.
Mentor and guide a team of engineers and architects to deliver top-notch solutions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Stay updated on AWS services, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Provide technical guidance on security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.

Oversee cloud lifecycle management, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and cost optimization.
Implement tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline workflows.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Proven expertise in AWS services, including networking, security, and database management.
Strong experience with Linux, Windows, Bash, and Python scripting.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Proficiency in programming languages with official AWS SDKs (e.g., Python, Node.js).
7-10 years of progressively complex, related experience in cloud and software engineering.
Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable AWS solutions.
Demonstrated ability to elicit non-functional requirements and translate them into production-ready solutions.
