AWS Data Architect | Remote | LATAM

We're looking for a Senior Data Architect with AWS Data Engineer expertise to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is perfect for someone with strong hands-on experience in AWS Lambda, Databricks, SQL, Python, and AWS Data Services (Athena, Glue, Redshift) who can design and implement enterprise-level data architectures.

️ Important Note:

Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering, deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, and B2+ English proficiency.

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years in Data Architecture / Data Engineering, with experience in designing and implementing data architectures.
• Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Data Engineering & ETL: Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Databricks, Spark, and AWS Glue.
• Programming & Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala.
• Data Warehousing & Analytics: Experience in data modeling, data lakes, and warehouse solutions.
• Business Intelligence & Reporting: Experience with BI platforms like Sigma, Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for cloud infrastructure deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures to support analytics, reporting, and data science needs.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards across all data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Developers to enable seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Migrate and integrate existing data environments to AWS-based architectures.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and innovative solutions.
