Asbestos Abatement Coordinator

Our client is a leader in environmental safety and compliance, dedicated to creating healthier, safer spaces. We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Abatement Coordinator to join our dynamic team and contribute to impactful projects that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement site assessments (Phase 1) and abatement designs (Phase 2) for asbestos and lead-related construction projects.
• Collaborate with departments to provide technical support and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct environmental monitoring during construction, overseeing the safe removal and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Investigate and manage incidents related to asbestos and lead exposure.
• Utilize Maximo to plan, track, and report project progress.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or additional years of experience to compensate for education).
• Certifications in AHERA courses (e.g., Building Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer).
• EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) and CDPH Lead Certification (Inspector / Assessor / Project Monitor).
• 5+ years of professional construction experience involving asbestos / lead abatement and monitoring.

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary: $102,000-$106,000
