The Operation teams at Shopee cover the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyzes and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations, and Fraud.

About the Team:

Responsible for analyzing quantitative data and organizing unstructured data, transforming it into relevant information that will support the decision-making process aimed at reducing operational losses and creating dashboards for monitoring strategic metrics.

Job Description:

Implement logistics indicators, define metrics, and support the calculation rationale from the database to visualization reports (using Power BI / Google Sheets / Excel);
Create scalable and transparent reporting mechanisms;
Work closely with logistics operations teams focusing on loss prevention to identify improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.
Provide recommendations and guidance to improve data collection, storage, and usage.
Guide and support analysts in the team by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Conduct targeted data surveys to support other areas;
Help develop strategic insights through data and thus find opportunities to improve the logistics experience and consequently reduce logistical losses;
Create analyses to identify root causes and problems;
Prepare material and participate in recurring operations calls (to support improvement plans) and presentations for senior leadership;
Be the guardian of the developments made;
Automate processes with SQL/Python or another language for offline data collection.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related fields.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
Python will be considered a differential.
Intermediate English.
