About the Role

Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the growing process by ensuring scheduling, operational inputs, manning levels, quality, and yield are properly handled.
• Planning machinery routine maintenance schedules and updating all spreadsheets and reports.
• Ensuring raw materials, chemicals, labor costs, and overtime are managed within set parameters.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Agriculture or relevant field.
• Previous experience in operations management, preferably in controlled environment production facilities or with perishable products.
• Foundational knowledge of FSSC 22000 and Global Gap.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English and another local language.
• Valid driver's license and own transport essential.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and have excellent people and negotiation skills. They should also be familiar with Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Syspro.
