We are expanding our team and looking for an Administrator Oracle Apps EBS who shares our passion for technological challenges.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, implement, and maintain our core Oracle database.
  2. Ensure DB availability. Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls.
  3. Actively seek to optimize and simplify our architecture.
  4. Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB. Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required.
  5. Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB. Support and collaborate with product developers.
  6. Understanding and expert knowledge in OEM, working of ILOM, ODA_BASE.
  7. Query tuning for optimal performance. Troubleshooting knowledge on query for degraded performance.
  8. Ability to provide recommendations to Client for faster execution of queries/SPs.
  9. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans. Create a reliable backup strategy.
  10. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality.
  11. Determine and document DB policies, procedures, and standards.
  12. Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Identification of bottlenecks and deadlock issues.
  13. Ensure SLAs and operational KPIs are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.

Competencies:

  1. Ideally Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with more than 5 years’ experience with Oracle, preferably in a lead role.
  2. Experience should include DB design, modeling and normalization, capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, backup and recovery, managing schemas, report generation, and DB clustering technologies.
  3. Operating system experience in Linux, Oracle management tools, Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump, Partitioning, Architecture design principles.
  4. Good problem solver, focused and dedicated developer with the ability to work on your own as well as with a team. Hands-on experience with DB standards and end user applications translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology.
  5. Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC ASM Latest environments.
  6. Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail. Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its database.
  7. Hands-on experience in Performance tuning & Backup and recovery.
  8. Having development experience together with CORE DBA will be an added advantage.
  9. Expert in database PSU and CPU patching and planning.
  10. Ready to work in 24*7 shifts and on call.

Requirements:

  1. 6+ years understanding of basic EBS architecture for R12.2.
  2. Understanding of EBS with 2 DB Rack System.
  3. EXADATA & ASM knowledge is a must.
  4. EBS Patching using ADOP (R12.2).
  5. CPU patching on DB, EBS, and other EBS Tech stack patches.
  6. Cloning (Oracle DB 19c and EBS R12.2).
  7. Renewing SSL certs and other Trusted certs on EBS.
  8. Understanding of Weblogic Server and applying patches.
  9. Understanding and experience on Oracle Multitenant DB architecture - 19c DB.
  10. DR (Data Guard – Physical Standby).
  11. RMAN and DB Restore.
  12. Shell scripting.
  13. Other routine Oracle Apps DBA activities.
