THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Accounts Receivable Senior Manager to our Collection | Finance team in Sao Paulo - Remote!

The Accounts Receivable Senior Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Collections operations, encompassing portfolio reconciliation, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of collections processes. Develop and refine collections strategies including reminders, collections efforts, and dunning. Mentor and elevate the AR and collections teams through hands-on coaching and development initiatives. Design and implement robust reporting models to enhance visibility and decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in managing a large accounts receivable team and a deep understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP) in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and partners, while monitoring collections targets and delivering comprehensive reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Streamline financial reconciliation schedules and review bad debt provisions.
  • Evaluate and implement operational and SOX controls as required.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture across the organization, fostering collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership.
  • Conduct financial analysis for past due accounts, and high-risk customers, among other financial impact areas.
  • Set quarterly aging, cash, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) goals, monitoring progress against targets.
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate team performance.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
  • Advanced English is mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Netsuite is preferable), as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
