Job Description

A Supply Chain Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining supply chain plans to ensure optimal inventory levels, production schedules, and customer satisfaction. They collaborate with various stakeholders to forecast demand, plan procurement, and optimize production capacity. This role requires strong analytical and planning skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and plan demand based on historical data, market trends, and customer inputs.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to gather demand forecast information and validate projections.
• Create and maintain supply chain plans, including inventory replenishment, production schedules, and procurement requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and components.
• Optimize production capacity and coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Generate reports and analyze supply chain performance metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and customer fill rates.
• Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain planning processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
