Monitor daily accounts operation tasks, oversee billing and invoicing, reconcile bank statements and balance sheets.
Preparation of Business and Instalment Activity Statements (BAS), GST/ SST returns for submission.
Payroll services for clients (through system) and preparation of Payroll tax lodgement.
Handle full set of accounts for clients, ensure financial records are accurate and organized, preparation of Monthly / Yearly Management Reports (including schedules) on a timely manner for stakeholders’ meetings, financial audit and tax queries.
Liaising with clients’ auditor/tax agent on matters relating to audit, tax, and statutory requirements. Other duties as assigned by the superior, including field visits etc.
Communicate findings with stakeholders and executive leadership.
Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
Staying informed about current legislation and regulations relating to accounting, e-invoicing, taxation, and payroll.
Review work done of juniors to ensure consistency in accounting practices, provide guidance on financial reporting and operational matters.
A degree in Accounting/Accountancy or CPA/ACCA qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
1 - 7 years of experience in a related field, bringing valuable insights and best practices to the role.
Understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the AASB/ MPERS/ MASB.
An independent, proactive, and resourceful individual with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, with proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Hubdoc, and Employment Hero) and e-invoicing systems.
Fluency in English, facilitating effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Prior experience with an Accounting or Audit Firm is a plus.
