The Medical Day Unit is a busy and dynamic outpatient department that provides a wide range of treatments and diagnostic procedures, including:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Technician to join our friendly team on a permanent basis.
As a key member of the unit, you will provide clinical and non-clinical support to ensure the smooth running of the department. The role includes assisting registered nurses, supporting patient flow, preparing clinical areas, and helping maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Cannulation skills are desirable but not essential—full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday 07:00-17:00, Saturday 08:00-16:00
Our patients may attend regularly for long-term treatments or visit us for a single procedure. Regardless of the reason for their visit, our aim is to create a calm, welcoming environment and ensure every patient receives clear information about their treatment and feels at ease during their stay.
A designated coordinator is on duty each day to maintain smooth patient flow, support staff, and help manage any challenges that arise. Good communication and teamwork are essential to how we work, and we encourage open dialogue and shared problem-solving.
