A leading construction industry supplier is seeking a Control Systems Engineer for their Bishop Auckland site. In this role, you'll maintain and repair equipment, implement electrical systems, and develop team training while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications include a minimum Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and experience in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Assist in implementing electrical maintenance systems.
  • Provide timely breakdown service to minimize downtime.
  • Develop a training plan for team members.
  • Identify and manage plant compliance with legislation.

Skills

Ability to read electrical drawings
Analytical & fault finding skills
Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s – S7 TIA portal
Good communication skills
Knowledge of electric motors and pneumatics

Education

Minimum level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical engineering
