As an Injection Moulding Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in new product industrialisation and validation. You will lead in developing, evaluating, and improving our manufacturing methods and processes. Utilizing your expertise in both traditional and cutting-edge engineering technologies, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our production operations are optimized for efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

• Design and implement innovative manufacturing processes and systems, focusing on patient welfare, product quality, and cost-efficiencies.
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate new products or changes seamlessly into the manufacturing process.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize efficiency within the production environment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback and performance metrics to enhance process capabilities.

• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical devices or high-performance materials sector.
• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in injection moulding, toolmaking or other relevant field.
• Completed a HNC, HND or other equivalent vocational or higher qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working effectively across different departments.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations.
