Our client is one of the largest, most successful international multidisciplinary consultancies in the world, with offices across the UK and teams based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Their Building Services team plays a leading role in some of the world's most challenging and exciting engineering projects across a plethora of sectors including Residential, Blue Light, Education, Mission Critical, Aviation, Energy (e.g. Fission, Fusion, Large scale PV), Commercial Offices, Transportation and Defence. Their work will bring you together with both UK and international designers, on projects that range from individual buildings to city-size solutions and approaches.
Your new role
Our client is looking to appoint a mechanically biased UK Technical Director within their Building Services design team. In this role, you will lead one of their main technical capabilities delivering building services, sustainability, building performance and low carbon solutions across their multi-discipline teams of Architects and Engineers. You will report directly to the UK Practice Director and Professional Head of Discipline and have influence over the 900+ Engineers and Architects within their national Building Design practice.
