Civil/Structural Technician - £37,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

Location: Manchester City Centre

THE COMPANY
Our client is a firm of Consulting Engineers with offices in Manchester and London. Due to an increase in major project awards, they urgently need a Civil/Structural Technician in their Manchester office. You will be producing GA and detail working drawings using Revit / AutoCAD for a variety of projects.

THE ROLE
As a Civil/Structural Technician, you will be responsible for producing Revit / AutoCAD drawings for a variety of healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects.

1. The Civil/Structural Technician will have around 3-10 years’ experience in the UK engineering consultancy sector.
2. It is essential that you have a proven track record and knowledge within the creation of detailing with all the main construction materials and methods such as masonry, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and timber.
3. You will be actively involved in projects from concept to completion.
4. Assist with technical reviews for design.
5. Preparation of Revit / AutoCAD drawings.
6. Report to Project Engineers including design team, site visits.
7. Work within a team and have the ability to work with nominal supervision.
8. Liaise with other internal and external design team members on a proactive basis to resolve problems and manage drawing systems.
