MTICBIAI, My Trauma Is Chronic, But I Am Iconic!!, is an initiative dedicated to supporting individuals who face various adversities, including mental health challenges, neurodivergence, and experiences of looked-after children and care leavers. The project provides a safe, inclusive space for individuals to access resources, share their stories, and find support tailored to their unique needs. MTICBIAI focuses on resilience, empowerment, and fostering a sense of belonging by acknowledging and addressing different forms of trauma.

Role Description.

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to transform our two-hour-long podcast episodes into compelling, shareable content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for storytelling, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Extract key moments, insights and soundbites from podcast episodes to create engaging short-form content.
2. Develop visually appealing graphics, audiograms and video snippets for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
3. Write captivating captions, headlines and post copy that align with the brand’s tone and messaging.
4. Design and implement a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
5. Optimise content for platform-specific algorithms to maximise engagement.
6. Monitor analytics and adjust content strategy based on performance insights.
7. Stay updated on social media trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance audience engagement.

Requirements:

1. Experience in creating social media content, preferably from long-form audio or video.
2. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
3. Strong graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop or similar tools.
4. Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
6. Passion for storytelling and content creation.

This is a voluntary, remote role that offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation while contributing to a meaningful project.
