MTICBIAI, My Trauma Is Chronic, But I Am Iconic!!, is an initiative dedicated to supporting individuals who face various adversities, including mental health challenges, neurodivergence, and experiences of looked-after children and care leavers. The project provides a safe, inclusive space for individuals to access resources, share their stories, and find support tailored to their unique needs. MTICBIAI focuses on resilience, empowerment, and fostering a sense of belonging by acknowledging and addressing different forms of trauma.

Role Description

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to transform our two-hour-long podcast episodes into compelling, shareable content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for storytelling, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract key moments, insights and soundbites from podcast episodes to create engaging short-form content.
  • Develop visually appealing graphics, audiograms and video snippets for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Write captivating captions, headlines and post copy that align with the brand’s tone and messaging.
  • Design and implement a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
  • Optimise content for platform-specific algorithms to maximise engagement.
  • Monitor analytics and adjust content strategy based on performance insights.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance audience engagement.
Requirements:
  • Experience in creating social media content, preferably from long-form audio or video.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop or similar tools.
  • Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for storytelling and content creation.

This is a voluntary, remote role that offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation while contributing to a meaningful project.
