The project:
Working with Mace Interiors to deliver some of the most innovative, sustainable and technically advanced commercial office fit out projects in London.

    • You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
    • You will support the long-term success of planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs, and the overall contribution to the broader company goals.
    • You will support the planning function in ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
    • Accountable for the production, monitoring, analysing and reporting on project plans.
    • Must have strong ASTA experience.
    • A clear level of planning control, governance, and reporting.
    • Plan resource levelling to smooth out resource overloads, future forecasting of resourcing and produce a cost analysis report against budget.
    • Ensure programme Integration, identification of issues and identify solutions.
    • To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach.
    • Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings, PMIs, and compensation notices).
    • Directing the project teams to safely deliver on time, to stated quality, at minimum cost and to client satisfaction.
    • Acting as the link between the client and other key stakeholders.
    • Overall management of the project and programme.
    • Undertaking and delivering significant size projects, as the lead project manager with support from senior project managers.
    • Performing non-project related roles will be business reporting, bidding, resourcing and other as directed by the sector lead.
    • Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.
  3. Integrity - Always do the right thing:
    • You will support senior management in negotiations, contract development and other business development, ensuring that due diligence is applied.
    • You will support the long-term development of strategy for a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
    • You will commit to making a positive impact for our people, our clients, and our planet, and take ownership for holding others to account who do not uphold the Mace values.

You'll need to have:

  • Excellent written communication skills, clear & concise.
  • In depth knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
  • Significant experience in the use of planning techniques in a range of multi-disciplinary sectors.

You'll also have:

  • Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the construct sector.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
