Looking for a new challenge in the high-speed automation sector? Join my client's team as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and help them deliver cutting-edge, bespoke automated solutions to customers across a range of industries.

As part of the team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-precision automation systems that meet and exceed customer expectations. You'll need a keen eye for detail, a passion for innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design complex automation systems from concept to installation
2. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality

Key Skills:

1. HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2. Extensive experience in bespoke automation system design / special-purpose machinery
3. Proficient in using Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
4. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
5. Experience working in a multi-skilled environment
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills
7. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines

The Package:

1. Salary range: starting from £55,000 per annum and depending on experience
2. Overtime pay after 37 hours
