SCCM Support Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Provide strong technical skills and experience within the LME MECM Engineering & Delivery Team and to other LME technology teams.
- Contribute to the creation of long-term strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with IT Production Operations, Information Security, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationships between Information Security and operations teams.
- Apply knowledge to deliver project-related deliverables such as high and low-level designs.
- Share knowledge and experience to contribute to the LME’s continual service improvement plans.
Direct Responsibilities:- Design, deliver, and maintain the LME Windows 10 standard builds ensuring compliance with CIS Standards.
- Utilize knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory, group policy, user profile management, and security concepts to provide a CIS compliant service.
- Manage, enhance, and support the VDI estate using Citrix XenDesktop.
- Deliver an improved end-user experience using Office 365, Intune (or similar product), and collaboration solutions.
- Demonstrate proven application packaging experience.
- Participate in projects, providing technology roadmap expertise particularly in project planning and design phases.
- Contribute to or own high-level designs specific to the engineer's realm of experience.
- Create low-level pattern or template designs.
- Implement technology defined in low-level patterns or designs.
- Conduct performance, compatibility testing, and dependency management between components.
- Transfer knowledge to IT operational teams for new technology or project deliveries, including process and technical documentation.
- Maintain MECM Engineering & Delivery Team documentation, roadmaps, and similar artifacts to ensure currency.
- Contribute to the delivery of efficient solutions to meet business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
- Create, maintain, and communicate technical infrastructure platform standards when appropriate.
- Participate in the operational change management process when appropriate.
- Ensure suitable contribution to major incident recovery processes when appropriate.

Salary: £500.00-£535.00 per day
