SAP P2P Functional Analyst (12-month FTC)

Are you passionate about optimising business processes and making a real impact?

The role

We are looking for a talented SAP P2P Functional Analyst to join our dedicated SAP Centre of Excellence on an initial 12-month FTC. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of activities including process mapping, designing, configuration, requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, end-user training, documentation, and ongoing maintenance and enhancements for our Finance and Controlling business processes.

You will collaborate closely with other application teams on both large and smaller projects, ensuring a flexible and dynamic approach while adhering to ITIL best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Play a key role in the entire project lifecycle, from setup to final delivery.
  2. Propose and specify configuration and ABAP solutions for business changes.
  3. Analyse business requirements through workshops and documentation.
  4. Map requirements to SAP P2P processes and design solutions.
  5. Customise and develop the SAP system within the SAP Centre of Excellence team.
  6. Assist in testing and developing test scripts.
  7. Design, test, and implement SAP P2P configurations within a project management framework.
  8. Collaborate with external and internal development teams to deliver SAP solutions.
  9. Focus on continuous process improvement and enhancing end-user experience.
  10. Support training delivery for SAP users across UK sites.

What you will bring

  1. Strong understanding of procurement processes.
  2. Extensive experience with ERP systems, especially SAP P2P, including accrual process, payment runs, workflow management and reporting.
  3. Knowledge of key finance functions, including double entry bookkeeping, P&L, Balance Sheet, and reconciliations.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP P2P solutions.
  6. Knowledge of SAP Fiori.

Preferred criteria:

  1. Familiarity with BTP workflow module.

Circa £60,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
