Sales Order Processor (Engineering / Construction)

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + 24 days holiday + training + benefits + pension

Are you an experienced and capable customer services professional with experience of processing orders for technical equipment looking to work for a leading provider of products and services into the construction industry? Are you looking to progress your career and move into management with a growing and stable business? Would you like to work closely with Engineers and clients to manage multiple interesting and complex Engineering projects with a lively company that really values its employees?

Your Responsibilities:

1. Handle a high volume of customer enquiries via phone calls, email, and through the web.
2. Understand customer requirements and process orders accurately and efficiently to enhance the customer experience.
3. Address customer questions regarding our products and services.
4. Be compassionate regarding customer queries or complaints, making every effort to resolve problems satisfactorily.
5. Work with customers to minimise small orders and reduce the number of deliveries to the same site.
6. Maintain accurate customer account details.
7. Provide effective communication with customers, colleagues, and 3rd parties to ensure successful outcomes with a 'Right First Time' mentality.

The Person:

1. Excellent attention to detail and a great communicator with customer service and order processing experience.
2. Experience within a technical product or engineering business.
