Sales Director required to join a supplier of industrial automation, factory automation, process instrumentation, drives and electrical control gear. This position requires you to be based or willing to relocate to the North East.
The Sales Director will be responsible for setting and implementing the sales strategy, whilst managing the overall sales team. As part of the role, you’ll maintain and develop relationships with key customers and suppliers.
We’re looking for proven sales & senior leadership experience managing sales teams, either as a Sales Director, Country Manager, UK Sales Manager, General Manager or similar, with knowledge of industrial automation, factory automation, process instrumentation, drives, PLCs, sensors and electrical control gear products.

Role
Set, implement and lead sales strategy for a Nationwide distributor within industrial automation, factory automation, process instrumentation, sensors, drives, PLCs and electrical control gear.
Client facing - maintain and develop relationships with key customers and suppliers.
Manage the UK Sales Manager, Sales & marketing teams (Circa 25 staff).
UK wide travel, but home based in the North East.
Requirements
Proven sales team management, either as Sales Director or Country Manager, General Manager, UK Sales Manager or similar looking for the next step.
Sales team / senior leadership experience.
Must have experience & knowledge of industrial automation, factory automation, process instrumentation, drives, PLCs, sensors and electrical control gear.
Must live or be willing to relocate to the North East.
