Exciting Opportunity for a Permanent MEP Quantity Surveyor

ReCon Advisory Partners are recruiting for a leading consultancy based in Hertfordshire that specialises in providing consultancy services within the construction sector.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates and budgets for MEP projects.
2. Conduct regular reviews and updates of project costs against budgets.
3. Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating submissions.
4. Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
5. Assist with financial reporting and cash flow forecasting.
6. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant legislation.
7. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to provide timely advice on costs and procurement.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
3. Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Package:

Up to £70,000 annual salary
Company car/allowance is negotiable
