Role:
This role delivers MEP CAD, Revit model and drawing production process as part of a small team. The role is to deliver this function with the CAD manager, setting the standard for efficient high quality drawing and model production with priorities and delivery strategies agreed in collaboration with the CAD manager.
The daily workload bias is 75% towards high quality 2D drawing production using Autocad MEP with 25% of current and predicted future workload within a REVIT MEP environment. The majority of our technical output is biased towards client side advisory services, with design services to RIBA 3 and a RIBA 4A level of detail, with selected projects progressing to a higher level of detail. We do not complete working drawings level of detail or fabrication details. We avoid using CAD Bureaus and contract staff. The strategy is to deliver high quality coordinated information for tender, coordination and third party approval purposes.
Our main operating sectors are the residential sector encompassing housing, student living, care and mixed use. This represents 90% of current and future workload by sector with generally small to medium size projects to £75m construction value. The remaining workload is within mainstream commercial sectors.
This is a hybrid role that can be based in London, Orpington, Cambridge or Birmingham.
