Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers to join our Real Estate team to support on a range of high profile fit out and refurbishment projects, focusing on MEP.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Managing the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across all MEP Design & Construction and retail projects
  • Manage aspects of MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy including pre and post contract duties.
  • Assist in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
  • Input to the tender process, review and analyse MEP tender returns and support recommendations to the client as well as advice on MEP package procurement routes.
  • Producing guidance notes on the reporting structure so that clients and vendors ensure they are all adequately trained on the reporting process.
  • Stakeholder management through chairing of client meetings, presenting findings from the data reported on by vendors within region.
  • Publishing and presenting monthly reports, monthly programme dashboards and bi-weekly status reports.
  • Regular interaction with vendor representatives working collaboratively with each vendor to ensure they are able to effectively report on their projects.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full MEP project life cycle
  • Professionally qualified (RICS, CIBSE or similar)
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
  • Knowledge & contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
  • Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
