We're on the hunt for a Marketing Officer to support the growth of two of our fostering and adoption agencies. You will drive the development of digital and content marketing initiatives, brand positioning, promotion and ultimately the marketing performance of Adopters for Adoption (AFA) and Active Care Solutions (ACS). Working within the central Polaris Marketing team, you will be responsible for the marketing activities of AFA and ACS including all internal and external stakeholder management as well as working closely with third party digital and PR agencies.

You'll work closely with the Head of Foster Parent Marketing, and the wider marketing team, to create and deliver exciting campaigns, across a number of different channels, designed to attract new Foster Parents and Adopters.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Support the growth of new business through a range of marketing methods and approaches.
  • Work alongside the Head of Foster Parent Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team to support the digital strategy, through social media campaigns, posts and advertising, online remarketing activity and PPC and Website & SEO.
  • Work proactively with regional stakeholders to gather, create and then communicate the positive stories about work across the group.
  • Support the production of internal company marketing material.
  • Ensure an integrated approach to marketing campaigns for the recruitment and retention of foster carers.
  • Work alongside external partners such as our PR and Digital agencies.
  • Support the Head of Foster Parent Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager in the delivery of business critical projects.
The chosen candidate will have the following:
  • 2 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience in developing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience in producing campaign performance reports.
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
  • Experience in using content management systems to update websites.
  • Understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable but not essential.
  • Writing, blogging and proofreading ability.
  • A proven background building a quality online following for a business or organisation.
  • Organisational skills of Marketing & Recruitment Officer.
  • Strong organisational skills and communication skills a must.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to prioritise and work on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and resourceful with a 'can-do' attitude.
