Description

We are looking for a Content & Digital Marketing Manager to join the wider Marketing and Business Development team on an 18-month fixed-term contract, to support the business across our offices in Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge and Halifax.

We are looking for a results-focused, creative marketer with a passion for what they do someone who is creative and innovative and who desires to help a growth-focused business realise its goals in both domestic and overseas markets.

Our marketing and business development team design and execute a range of activities, and often work closely with our technical professionals. Days are varied, punctuated by exciting and sometimes, amazing wins and successes. We observe, dream, query, challenge, invent, experiment, test, refine, advise, and inspire our business to realise its big ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the creation of our annual, research-based flagship marketing report
  2. Devise, create & distribute other marcomms content including articles, podcasts, digital mailings
  3. Manage social media channels & create content
  4. Manage CRM (HubSpot) database & work with the team to ensure contacts are recorded, maintained, tagged, and fed into appropriate marketing campaigns
  5. Manage firm-led external client events
  6. Manage legal directory submissions processes & relationships with legal directory representatives
  7. Line management responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Required Skills

  1. Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, PR, Journalism or a similar
  2. Experience working in professional services, preferably within the legal sector
  3. Experience managing a team
  4. Experience with campaign and social media management & reporting
  5. Content development and distribution via digital marketing platforms & social media
  6. HubSpot database and content management
  7. Search engine optimisation and general website best practices
  8. Ability to manage several competing interests at once
  9. Ability to interact and gain the confidence of senior stakeholders including partners

Desirable skills

  1. Previous experience working in the intellectual property sector
  2. WordPress content management platform experience
  3. Experience working with a partnership
