Management Accountant
Cambridge
£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to join a growing, forward-thinking business in Cambridge.

You'll be part of a collaborative finance team, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide key financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The role is broad, offering plenty of variety and the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis - Ensure accuracy, identify risks, and provide insight
2. Management Accounts & Reporting - Produce monthly accounts, variance analysis, and commercial metric
3. Project & Grant Reporting - Support internal and external reporting requirements
4. Cash Flow & Forecasting - Help drive financial planning and stability
5. Process Improvement & Systems Development - Identify efficiencies and support system enhancements
6. Year-End & Compliance - Assist with audits, tax reporting, payroll review, and VAT returns
7. Business Partnering - Work with department heads to provide financial clarity and support decision-making

What We're Looking For:

1. Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
2. Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally including group consolidations
3. Experience in management accounting & reporting, working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
4. Excellent communication & problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach
5. ERP system experience is a plus, but not essential

This role also offers the chance for occasional travel (once a year) to the US, where the wider finance team is based.
