MacGregor Black is pleased to be recruiting a Management Accountant to join a dynamic and growing privately owned food business. We are looking for a skilled professional to support the finance function and work closely with operations as a trusted finance business partner.

This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility for both full-time and part-time options.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on costings and margin analysis to ensure accurate product pricing and profitability insights.
Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Prepare management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Work closely with operations teams to provide financial insights and drive efficiencies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Assist with financial reporting and compliance requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within the food & drink or manufacturing sector.
Strong analytical skills with experience in costings and financial modelling.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to business partner effectively with operations and senior stakeholders.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
