Investor Relations Associate (12-month Contract)

Up to £60k doe + generous discretionary bonus

Are you an experienced Investor Relations professional looking to join a growing, dynamic team in the heart of London? We’re working with a leading venture capital firm that invests in cutting-edge deep-tech start-ups (AI, robotics, machine learning, advanced engineering) in their very early stages.

This hybrid role is currently a 12-month contract but with the strong possibility of turning permanent afterward.

The Role

You will play a key role in coordinating investor relations, supporting senior leaders, and assisting with events and communications. If you're proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, this is a great chance to get involved with innovative companies at the beginning of their journey.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate meetings and communications with current and potential investors Manage the investor relations mailbox and support the finance team Assist with planning and executing events, including an upcoming key event Oversee and tidy up the CRM system to track fundraising actions and updates Provide executive support to senior members of the team (including diary and meeting management)

The Candidate:

• MUST have previous Investor Relations experience (Venture Capital experience is a plus, but not essential) Experience as an Executive Assistant (ideally to C-suite) Experience in Private Equity or finance could work well Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Proactive, hardworking, and adaptable – you’ll fit in with the team’s collaborative culture A great personality – someone mature yet relaxed who enjoys a fun work environment Experience in a small team or start-up setting would be beneficial
