Head of Technology (Design & Technology) - September 2025 Start

Location: Cranleigh, UK

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: MPR/UPR + Fringe Allowance + TLR2b

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Design & Technology practitioner to lead a high-performing department in a thriving and supportive school.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated leader to drive forward an engaging and high-quality Design & Technology curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4. The department is a key strength within the school, with student progress in the top 14% nationally for 2024 and a subject progress score of around +1 in recent years.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and enhance the DT curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
2. Inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for creativity, design, and problem-solving.
3. Monitor student progress, implementing strategies for continued success.
4. Support and develop teaching staff, sharing best practices and driving improvement.
