Subject Leader Technology
TLR 2b – £5,644 in addition to substantive post
Fixed term 1-year, maternity cover
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed Technology specialist to lead others to make impact and raise standards in the department whilst our post holder is on parental leave. The successful candidate will be passionate about learning and inclusion, and will have a strong commitment to ensuring that every child achieves the highest possible standards. (S)he will be a good team player, and will be able to work with middle and senior leaders to develop the place of the Creative Arts and Technology Faculty at the beating heart of our school.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good track record of impact on the results of students in their classes, and will already have experience of supporting other colleagues. You will be able to articulate a vision for developing the Technology curriculum from 11-18, and will be ready to lead with confidence on assessment, teaching and learning. Middle leaders in the school receive a high level of support, including a training and development programme through our Lead Practitioner team. You will be able to participate at a whole school level, and will be energetic in your work to promote collaboration within the faculty team and beyond. You will be enthusiastic about developing partnerships beyond the school and will be confident. Above all, applicants should demonstrate an uncompromising belief in the potential of every student.
